the blog site has finally gotten repaired!
it’s amazing to think we all just arrived here at mason literally three days ago. we’ve gotten so close and have made some once-in-a-lifetime bonds. these days have gone by so fast, so everyone’s trying to make the most of it. we’re having the best time together – although waking up at the crack of dawn isn’t exactly the most exciting “bonding” experience – and we’ve really learned so much from one another.
it’s incredible that every senior here has the same drive, determination, and passion in every aspect of their lives. the people i’ve been around this week have taught me that it’s ok to act silly, to be nerdy, and to speak up no matter what. an opportunity like this also allows us to see things from other people’s perspectives, and to meet people from all different states. never did i think i would be able to go shopping with a girl from indiana i’d met just a day before, or become close friends with a boy from new jersey – which is the opposite of north carolina, seriously – but i’m so glad i’ve met these people. they’re amazing friends, and the experiences we’ve had together will keep usĀ in each other’s livesĀ forever.
